This summer's hottest bike-friendly destination might just be "The Hells."
On its recently released 2016 NYC Bike Map, the Department of Transportation mislabeled Governors Island's highly anticipated new park called "The Hills" with just one choice letter incorrect, ending up with this description:
"Bike-friendly destination featuring The Hells (opening mid-summer 2016) and seven miles of car-free biking with spectacular views of Lower Manhattan, Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan" (See below).
To be fair, they spelled "The Hills" correctly once on the map.
There have been a few errors caught on the DOT's map so far, including some kind of big ones, like incorrect car-free hours in Central Park and Prospect Park.
But we agree with @ggsacks, this is our favorite mistake.
My favorite bit of the 2016 NYC Bike Map is the bit where the new park on Governors Island is accidentally named "The Hells".

The Hills, a series of giant waterfront hills made from recycled construction and fill materials, are set to open this summer. When completed, the four hills will rise between 25 and 80 feet, and be covered in grass, winding paths, and on one hill, even a variety of slides.
Governors Island declined to comment.
Update: A spokesperson for the DOT said as of Wednesday evening the map has been corrected online.
