Hillary Clinton made a campaign stop at the Apollo Theater in Harlem on Wednesday, revving up a crowd of supporters in the run-up to the New York state primary on April 19.

Here's what people on the ground (and on Twitter) had to say about the event:

People lined up for blocks outside the Apollo, which ended up being a full house.

In the lead-up to the candidate’s speech, a DJ worked the crowd up while a familiar face in the form of Rep. Charlie Rangel danced enthusiastically.

According to one reporter on the ground, Rangel took the chance to take a shot at Clinton’s Democratic rival Bernie Sanders, who is speaking on Thursday in The Bronx.

They really liked her sartorial choices.

She raised the roof, to the delight of some...

...and to the chagrin of others

Clinton must be a DNAinfo reader, as she borrowed the term “This is New York” in her speech.
