EAST FLATBUSH — A woman was seriously injured when a vehicle struck her as she was crossing the street mid-block Thursday morning, police said.

The woman, who is in her 30s, was standing on the double yellow lines outside 459 Linden Blvd., near East 38th Street, about 4:13 a.m. when the vehicle hit her, an NYPD spokeswoman said.

"Her legs were on her side. She was twisted. I didn't see her move at all," said a witness who wouldn't give his name.

"She was in the middle of the street. Two police officers were standing over her."

She suffered serious injuries and was treated at nearby Kings County Hospital, where she's listed in stable condition, officials said.

The driver remained on the scene and wasn't immediately arrested, police said.
