Dinosaurs Among Us
Where? American Museum of Natural History, Central Park West at 79th Street, Upper West Side

Dinosaurs Among Us, the latest exhibition at the American Museum of Natural History examines how one group of dinosaurs evolved into birds. The exhibition features ancient, rarely seen fossils, and lifelike models including a 23-foot-long feathered tyrannosaur.

Where? The Invisible Dog Art Center, 51 Bergen St., Boerum Hill
When? Saturday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
How Much? Free

Easter Holiday in Prospect Park

When? Friday, Saturday and Sunday
How Much? $3 suggested donation for the races and games. 
The Prospect Park Alliance at the Audubon Center and the Lefferts Historic House are offering great activities for kids during the Easter weekend, including nature exploration at Prospect Park Audubon Center and potato sack races, spoon races, stilts and other old fashioned games at Lefferts Historic House.

Easter Parade and Easter Bonnet Festival
Where? Fifth Avenue, starting at 49th Street, Midtown

How Much? Free
The Easter Parade and Easter Bonnet Festival is a New York City tradition that stretches back to the 1870s. Participants show off their very best Easter bonnets and finery while parading along Fifth Avenue from 49th Street to 57th Street.

Scavenger Hunt Hike
Where? Visitor Center (in Conference House Park), Satterlee Street and Hylan Boulevard, Tottenville
When? 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
How Much? Free
Let NYC Urban Park Rangers help you explore local flora and fauna during a scavenger hunt hike exploring Conference House Park on Staten Island. For more information, call 718-967-3542.

Connected Worlds
Where? New York Hall of Science, 47-01 111th St, Corona
When? Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (last session begins at 5 p.m.)
How Much? Adults pay $15. Tickets for children ages 2 – 17 cost $12
Connected Worlds is an animated exhibition situated in New York Hall of Science’s Great Hall. It features six interactive worlds (jungle, desert, wetlands, mountain valley, reservoir, and plains) that enable us to explore the interconnected nature of the different environments. Each environment is fed by a central waterfall projected 38-ft high that flows out across an interactive floor that spans 2,300 square feet.
