If there's one thing New Yorkers love, it's food delivery — and Uber is getting in on the action.

On Tuesday morning, the car hire service announced in a press release that it had expanded its UberEATS food delivery business to a standalone app.

Delivery is now available "during restaurant open hours between 8 a.m. and midnight, 7 days a week," with more than 100 NYC restaurants offering their eats anywhere in Manhattan below 100th St., the release said.

Some notable names the expansion includes are Mighty Quinn's BBQ, Black Seed Bagels and Uma Temakeria, among others.

Before the launch of the new app, UberEATS partners would deliver two to three "daily specials" chosen from a limited menu to Midtown locations around lunchtime, in a 10-minute service called "Instant Delivery."

While the Instant Delivery service still exists, now partners can offer their full menu in more locations and at more times — and they seem to be pretty excited about it.

“Adding Uma Temakeria to the UberEATS platform will allow us to expand the reach of our delivery and open our business up to more customers around New York City,” said Uma Temakeria chef and founder Chris Jaeckle in the release.

For a limited time, delivery is free and as always with Uber, there is no need to tip.

The app — which like its car-hire counterpart allows users to track and contact their drivers — is also available for download in Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston and Toronto.
