Saturday, March 19
Mo Willems Family Weekend
Where? New-York Historical Society, 170 Central Park West, at Richard Gilder Way at 77th Street, Upper West Side
When? 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday
How Much? Adults $20, kids (5–13 years old) $6
The just-opened exhibition “The Art and Whimsy of Mo Willems” brings together original art, sketches and inspirational drawings from the New York Times best-selling author and former "Sesame Street" writer known for his Park Slope-based "Knuffle Bunny" series.

Meet Author Myron Uhlberg and Artist Ted Papoulas
Where? Central Library, 10 Grand Army Plaza, Prospect Heights
When? 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
How Much? Free
Award-winning author Myron Uhlberg and fine artist Ted Papoulas will be at Brooklyn's Central Library in celebration of National Deaf History Month. Their new children’s book, "The Sound of All Things," based on the real-life experiences of Uhlberg, explores the life of a child who must translate the sounds of the world for his deaf parents.

New York International Children’s Film Festival 2016
Where? Museum Of The Moving Image, 36-01 35 Ave., Astoria
When? Saturday and Sunday, Times Vary
How Much? $13 per film or program. 
Catch a selection of the best kids short films over this weekend. As a part of the festival, a newly restored version of 1999 classic "The Iron Giant" will be screened on Saturday at 3 p.m.

Last Chance for Ice Skating
Where? Lasker Skating Rink, at the northern end of Central Park at 107 Street, Central Harlem
When? 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.
How Much? $7.50 adults, $4 kids. Skate rentals are $6.50.
Saturday is your final opportunity to do some ice skating this season at Central Park’s Lasker Skating Rink. 

Sunday, March 20
Luna Park Re-opening
Where? 1000 Surf Ave., Coney Island
When? 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
How Much? Pricing varies for different rides. A 4-hour wristband is $35. A kiddie wristband is $20.
Luna Park, New York City's largest amusement park, featuring a newly refurbished Cyclone, is re-opening for the 2016 season. 

Art of the Book
Where? Morgan Library & Museum, 225 Madison Ave. at 36th Street, Midtown
When? 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
How Much? $8 for adults, $6 for members, $2 for children
Children ages 8 and up will discover the fundamentals of art printing, book binding and silk screen printing using as a guide Andy Warhol’s rarely seen artist books, which are featured in current exhibition "Warhol by the Book."
