PROSPECT-LEFFERTS GARDENS — Police are looking for a man who groped a 54-year-old woman on the Q train, then fell asleep, giving his victim the chance to snap his picture.
Police said the woman was riding a northbound Q train near the Prospect Park station in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens around 7:30 a.m. Sunday when the man, seated next to her, reached over and rubbed his hand on her inner thigh.
The man then fell asleep and the woman took his picture before leaving the train at Union Square. The police department released that photo Monday, asking the public to help identify the suspect.
Police describe the man as 25 to 30 years old with an afro who was seen at the time of the incident wearing a black jacket with grey sleeves, grey jeans and black shoes.
