Friday, March 4

"Pronounced Q" Opening Reception

Where: Richmond Hood Company, 827 Castleton Ave., West Brighton
When: 6 to 10 p.m.

Prominent local street artist Kwue Molly will hold his first solo exhibition of work in New York City at the Richmond Hood Company clothing store. The show will have 22 pieces of art by Molly for sale — ranging from painted canvases to custom made toys — and limited edition prints, with proceeds from those going towards the Projectivity Movement's youth programs. The store will host a free opening reception on Friday and the show will run until March.

Reptilefest

Where: Clay Pit Ponds Interpretive Center, 2351 Veteran's Road W., Charleston
When: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The Staten Island Herpetological Society will host a free lecture on reptiles and bring a few of them to talk about the unique qualities of the animals. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the event.

► Historic Richmond Town Tavern Concert

Where: Historic Richmond Town's Guyon Tavern, 441 Clarke Ave., Richmond Town
When: 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Historic Richmond Town's annual series of acoustic concerts inside the Guyon Tavern continues with two performances by five-piece folk band Stout. Tickets are $11 online, $13 at the door.

Stomp Out Cancer! Hardcore Show

Where: Mother Pug's Saloon, 1371 Forest Ave., Elm Park
When: 8 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Mother Pug's Saloon will host a benefit concert for the Kim Mesorana Stomp Out Cancer Fund featuring local hardcore bands C.R. and Malcolm's Lost reuniting for the night and performances by Enrage, Vice and Walk the Wire. All proceeds from the $10 show will go to help pay Staten Island native Mesorana's medical bills and feature raffles with prizes including autographed baseballs and more.

Nick Di Paolo Stand-Up

Where: College of Staten Island's Williamson Theatre, 2800 Victory Blvd., Willowbrook
When: 8 p.m.

Comedian Nick Di Paolo, known for his Comedy Central specials and guest spots on "Louie" and "The Sopranos," will perform at the College of Staten Island's Williamson Theatre on Saturday. Tickets are $30.

Sunday, March 6

52nd Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade

Where: Forest Avenue, West Brighton
When: 12 p.m.

The 52nd annual St. Patrick's Day Parade returns to Forest Avenue with pipe and drum bands, step dancers and more, according to the Staten Island Advance. Local businesses along the route will have specials during the parade, which will kick off with The Forest Avenue Mile race.

Cirque Ziva Acrobats

Where: College of Staten Island's Springer Concert Hall, 2800 Victory Blvd., Willowbrook
When: 3 p.m.

The Cirque Ziva Acrobats will bring their performance showcasing traditional Chinese acrobatics, dances, costumes and more to the College of Staten Island. Tickets for the all ages show are $25 and the performance runs two hours with an intermission.
