PARKCHESTER - A man who fell into the roadway at McGraw Avenue and Unionport Road was fatally hit by a car moments later, becoming the fourth pedestrian fatality Sunday, police said.

The 33-year-old man, whose identity has not yet been released, was hit around 11:30 p.m. after the driver of a 2014 Ford Escape swerved around two double parked cars at the intersection, police said. The driver said he felt a “large bump,” the NYPD said.

“It seems like (the victim) was crossing the street and fell on the roadway, and the driver didn’t see him and struck him,” an NYPD spokeswoman said.

The victim was found unconscious and unresponsive. He was transported to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver turned right onto McGraw Avenue and then stopped, police said. There have been no arrests as of Monday morning.

Three other people, including another Bronx man, were also killed by cars earlier Sunday. No arrests have been made in any of those hit-and-runs as of Monday morning.

A unidentified 63-year-old man died after he was hit by a black SUV on East 175th Street and Webster Avenue in Belmont-Bronx Park South around 1:30 a.m., police said.

In Queens, Besik Shengelia, 48, was fatally struck by an unidentified car near 111th Street and 109th Avenue around 4:40 a.m.

Twenty minutes later, a 41-year-old man, who police did not immediately identify, was killed by a Nissan Altima that ran a red light as he was crossing Ninth Street and Fifth Avenue in Park Slope, the NYPD said.

Police released surveillance footage of the four-door Nissan, showing a missing passenger-side mirror, broken bumper and damaged left headlight.
