Man Groped 10-Year-Old Girl in Corona, Police Say

CORONA — Police are searching for a man who allegedly groped a 10-year-old girl and tried to touch a 17-year-old girl this month.

He first approached a 17-year-old girl near 35th Avenue and 92nd Street in Jackson Heights at around 8 p.m. on Feb. 17, and tried to touch her butt, police said.

She fled before he could grab her.

Days later, just before 3 p.m. on on Feb. 23, he touched a 10-year-old girl on her butt near 37th Avenue and 99th Street in Corona, police said.

She ran away from the suspect, who is described as 5-foot-7 and approximately 170 lbs with brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a fur trim and ripped jeans.
