QUEENS — The first drive-thru Starbucks in Queens is scheduled to open in Rego Park next month, the chain said.

The coffee shop will open at a new retail complex at 92-77 Queens Blvd., which will also include a Wyndham hotel. It's located near the Rego Center Mall and the Long Island Expressway.

“We are happy to confirm that we will be opening our new drive-thru location in Rego Park in late March,” a Starbucks spokeswoman said in an email.

The hotel — a Wyndham Garden — will open sometime in April, according to Tommy DeSousa of Matt Development.

Starbucks opened its first Rego Park location on 63rd Drive, near Queens Boulevard, in the fall.

The new drive-thru Starbucks will be the first such location in Queens and the third one in the city. The other drive-thru locations are in Tottenville, Staten Island, and on Cropsey Avenue in Coney Island.

The new hotel will be four stories high and will feature about 50 rooms, according to Matt Development.

The hotel lobby will be located in the back of the building, on 93rd Street, while the retail portion of the building, which will include Retro Fitness, will be accessible from Queens Boulevard.

DeSousa said the company is still looking for one more tenant.

"We are trying to get a bank or a small restaurant," he said.
