MANHATTAN — Quick-stop vegan joint Terri is celebrating the opening of its new Midtown East location on Tuesday by offering $1 green smoothies all day.

Juice fans have from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. to pick up a “Green Power” drink for only $1 at the new Terri location at 685 Third Avenue between East 43rd and East 44th streets. The juice normally costs $8.50, and the discount will only last through opening day.

Terri’s menu includes vegan staples such as hummus veggie wraps, but also offers a wide variety of imitation meat dishes including a barbecue “pulled pork” sandwich, a “‘bacon’ ‘egg’ and ‘cheese,’” and “fish” filet and chickpea “tuna” melt.

The main-meal lunch and dinner options — sandwiches, salads, and wraps — go for $9.88, while breakfast sandwiches are $5.51.

Co-owner Jeff LaPadula said the new cafe will be a boon to lunchers on the lookout for healthy fare in the neighborhood.

“We chose the area because we were on the lookout for spots that don’t have many options for this kind of food,” LaPadula said. “There was definitely a niche to fill for people who want to eat healthier food, and we’ve gotten a ton of good responses from people who live and work around here.”

The new eatery, which has options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner like its sister cafes, will mostly serve takeaway orders, but a small window counter with five seats will provide a spot to chow down on location.

LaPadula and his business partners opened the first Terri restaurant in 2010 at 60 W. 23rd St. in Chelsea, and followed up in 2013 with a second location at 100 Maiden Lane in the Financial District.
