BROOKLYN HEIGHTS — A landmarked building in the Brooklyn Heights Historic District is being turned into a pre-school, according to reports.

The building at 100 Clinton St., at the corner of Remsen Street in the Brooklyn Heights Historic District, will become a Packer Early Learning Center, according to New York YIMBY.

The renovation plan shows four floors of classroom space along with a new rooftop playground on the third floor.

The City's Landmarks Preservation Commission voted to approve the proposal, as long as architects work with the commission to design the fence that would contain the playground, according to YIMBY.

Plans show the restoration, led by Hudson Studio Architects would put the building’s entrance on the Clinton Street side.

The plans also provide for updated masonry, new windows and the installation of security cameras.

The Packer Collegiate Institute, which runs elementary, middle and high schools in Brooklyn, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
