A day without a Winter Weather Advisory is a victory for us all.

WEATHER: After the deep freeze of the weekend, we'll hit a high of 55 degrees today. Winds reaching 40 mph will douse the city with heavy rains from about 11 a.m. until 6 p.m., according to Accuweather.

TRAFFIC: Due to a sick customer at 86 St, southbound 4 and 5 trains are running local from 125 St to Grand Central-42 St. Expect delays on southbound 6 trains.

At the time of publication, all other train lines were running with good service.

Not mad about any of this. We've all learned not to underestimate the value of having feeling in your limbs while outdoors.

But because you're still going to get soaked out there, we'll put today's Winter Misery Index at a 3.
