FLATIRON — A guest who booked a room in a tony Flatiron hotel room for more than a month refused to pay his bill of more than $10,000, according to police.

Han Lo, 32, checked into the New York Edition hotel at 5 Madison Ave. on Oct. 15 and kept the room for nearly two months, finally checking out on Dec. 2 police said.

During his time there he ordered room service, including food and drinks, and eventually racked up an impressive $13,442 bill, according to a criminal complaint.

The cheapest room at the hotel costs about $368 per night, according to TripAdvisor, but prices can vary if customers buy a package. Prosecutors are still investigating the exact total of the man’s bill, according to a District Attorney spokeswoman.

A representative of the hotel declined to comment.

The hotel tried repeatedly to get Lo to pay up, but he refused, even after being warned by police that he would end up in jail if he didn’t pay, according to a police report.

Lo was arrested on Jan. 25, and prosecutors charged him with theft of services, officials said. A judge released him on $500 bail pending his next court date on March 24.

His lawyer did not return a request for comment.
