Saturday, Jan. 30

ODON PASS Performance

Where: Snug Harbor Cultural Center, 1000 Richmond Terrace, Livingston
When: 5 to 8 p.m.

Snug Harbor Cultural Center kicks off their monthly PASS series in the new year with a performance by the jazz collective ODON. ODON was started by percussionist, and Snug Harbor farmer, Jonathan Wilson and features Daniel Carter on horns, woodwinds, flutes and pianos; Takuma Kanaiwa on guitar and piano and Primus Luta playing custom electronics. The $10 performance starts with a reception at 5:00 p.m. and features a Q&A with the collective afterwards.

Tavern Concert 5 Mile String Band

Where: Historic Richmond Town's Guyon Tavern, 441 Clarke Ave., Richmond Town
When: 6 and 8 p.m.

Historic Richmond Town continues their weekly series of acoustic concerts inside their historic Guyon Tavern with a performance by the 5 Mile String Band. The band will play two performances, one at 6 p.m. and the other at 8 p.m., and tickets are $11 online, $13 at the door.

One Night of Art

Where: St. George Theatre, 35 Hyatt St., St. George
When: 6 to 9 p.m.

The historic St. George Theatre will host a one night free event exhibiting 10 Staten Island artists, including Mike Shane, Scott LoBaido, Bill Murphy, Sarah Yuster and more. The exhibit will take place in the Grand and Mezzanine lobby of the theater and will have live music by Karlus Trapp.

NYSAI's Winter Magazine Release Party

Where: Deep Tanks Studio, 150 Bay St., St. George
When: 8 p.m.

Staten Island's literacy magazine, NYSAI, will debut their 4th issue "Periscope" with a release party at Deep Tanks Studio. The party will music from G.E.D. with guest Lena and poetry and art from David DiLillo, Yu Tao, Enrico Arcaro and more. Admission is $5, which includes one issue and a drink ticket.

Made in Staten Island Hearts & Letters Festival

Where: Flagship Brewing Company, 40 Minthorne St., Tompkinsville
When: 12 to 5 p.m.

The Flagship Brewing Company will host the Valentine's edition of their Made in Staten Island festivals with live music by local bands and wares and food made by Staten Islanders. Organizers are also asking visitors to bring a Valentine or fill a postcard out at the event to send to military service members.

Where: Deep Tanks Studio, 150 Bay St., St. George
When: 6 to 9 p.m.

The ISLA collective will host a one day gallery — postponed a week because of the snow — asking the question "can love go viral?" The exhibit features artists from across the world, including several Staten Islanders, poetry, music, a pop-up shop and more. Sales from some works will go to support an online fundraising campaign for Ramsey Orta, the man who filmed the video of Eric Garner's arrest.

Hashtag Bar Grand Opening

Where: Hashtag Bar, 388 Van Duzer St., Stapleton
When: 5 to 11 p.m.

The Hashtag Bar will host an opening for their large renovation project — where they'll reveal their new front room restaurant — with performances by bands including Grounded for Life, SWIVS, Melon Farmers and The Seconds.
