MORRISANIA — A 12-year-old boy turned himself in for hurling a glass bottle at an MTA bus driver, according to the NYPD.

The driver of the BX17 bus was hurt after the boy threw a glass bottle through the open front door of his bus while it was stopped at the southwest corner of Home Street and Prospect Avenue, police said.

The bottle hit the driver in the face and he was treated at Jacobi Medical Center for an injury to his left eye, according to police.

The attack happened on Oct. 20 and the boy turned himself in on Wednesday while accompanied by his mother. He was charged as a juvenile with attempted assault.

Video of the attack shows the boy throwing the bottle and running away.
