By Aidan Gardiner | January 20, 2016 8:25am

THE BRONX — An MTA driver was injured when a boy randomly threw a glass bottle through the front door of a bus in late October and hit the driver's face, police said.

The Bx17 bus had stopped at the southwest corner of Home Street and Prospect Avenue when the boy came up and hurled the bottle past another rider in the entryway of the bus to hit the driver's face about 8:42 p.m. on Oct. 20, NYPD officials said.

Video shows the boy, who's between 10 and 13, throw the bottle and run away.

The driver was treated at Jacobi Medical Center for a minor injury to his left eye and released, police said.

The boy, who is about 5 feet 4 inches and 110 pounds, wore black sneakers, a black polo shirt and black jeans, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
