Sick of hearing about Obamacare but still don’t have health insurance? Listen up.

Join over 1 million New Yorkers and sign up for new health insurance or switch healthcare plans under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) by Sunday, January 31.

January 31 deadline is the last day to get covered under ACA this year, unless you have a qualifying life event that requires a change in coverage. These plans are considered affordable for many New Yorkers — most who apply for healthcare are eligible for state-funded Medicaid plans or federal subsidies.

If you’re a lower-income New Yorker but still make too much to qualify for Medicaid, consider getting New York’s "Essential Plan.” This new health plan allows people making less than a certain income to get covered for as low as $20 per month.
