
NEW YORK CITY — Alternate-side parking will be suspended this coming Monday through Friday following the historic snowstorm that dumped nearly 3 feet of snow on parts of the city.
"Leave your car where it is," Mayor Bill de Blasio said at a press conference Sunday morning, telling drivers not to worry about their snowed-in vehicles next week.

Saturday's storm was the second-biggest in New York City history, with 26.8 inches recorded in Central Park and a whopping 34 inches recorded in Jackson Heights.
