ELMHURST — The borough's only medicinal marijuana dispensary is set to open Friday morning, officials said
Vireo Health of New York is one of five companies granted a license to manufacture and provide medical-grade cannabis throughout the state last year.
They'll open their Elmhurst distribution center at 89-55 Queens Blvd. tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. Officials from the company will be at the center to celebrate the opening, and the ceremony will be conducted in English and Spanish, officials said.
Vireo Health's White Plains location opened on Jan. 7.
The Queens location is one of four opening throughout the city, with two locations in Manhattan and one in the Bronx.
