CROWN HEIGHTS — Police are on the lookout for a man who exposed himself in the front windows of a Crown Street apartment building this week.

A 29-year-old woman saw the man as she sat in the lobby of 565 Crown St. near Albany Avenue around 11:40 p.m. on Jan. 18, she told police.

He walked up to large glass windows at the building’s entrance, she said, and began fondling himself.

The woman left the area and reported the behavior to police the next day. The suspect has not yet been apprehended, police said.

► A 16-year-old student at Clara Barton High School at 901 Classon Ave. was arrested on Jan. 19 after he punched and robbed a 15-year-old student, taking his book page and cellphone, police said. The victim told officers the teen attacked him around 2:40 p.m. and told him “if you don’t get me $100 tomorrow I’m going to beat you up.”

► A 29-year-old woman reported that two tires, rims and headlights were stolen off her 2007 Infiniti sedan the night of Jan. 17 into Jan. 18 between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. The theft occurred opposite 444 Hawthorne St. between New York and Brooklyn avenues. She said only the rims and tires on the driver’s side of the car were taken. The stolen property was worth approximately $1,800.

► Police responded to multiple 911 calls and two “ShotSpotter” alerts for gunshots heard in separate locations on Jan. 15. The first incident happened at Lincoln Road and Rogers Avenue around 12:30 a.m. The second incident happened around 10 p.m. in front of 238 Fenimore St. In both cases, responding officers found no bullets, injured people or other evidence of a shooting.

► Police found four spent 9MM Luger Winchester shell casings and one unspent round in the rear of 154 Crown St. after receiving multiple 911 calls about shots fired behind the building around 8:45 p.m. on Jan. 14. There was no further information available about the incident.
