Family of Missing Teen Asks for Help Bringing Him Home

MANHATTAN — The family of a missing Kips Bay teenager is asking the public's help in finding the boy, who has been missing since Friday night.

Kyle Hoffmaier, 16, was last seen just before 11:30 p.m. on Friday night at his family’s apartment on East 26th Street between First and Second avenues, according to police and Facebook posts by relatives.

Hoffmaier, who stands 5-foot-4 and weighs roughly 145 pounds, has borderline autism spectrum disorder, according to his family. 

He was last seen wearing a grey polo shirt, khaki pants, a black leather bomber jacket, and blue sneakers, police said.
