NORWOOD — Police are questioning a man after a young woman claimed she was kidnapped in The Bronx Sunday night and raped twice at knife point, according to the NYPD.

The victim's friend told investigators a conflicting account of the events. She said that she was with the 19-year-old woman, and they both knew the 44-year-old man who they met up with to smoke marijuana at about 9:45 p.m., sources said.

The friend claims the three hung out and drove in his Toyota Camry to Queens, but the friend said she left with the victim's phone at some point and is not sure what happened after that, sources added.

The man raped the 19-year-old inside his car in Queens, police said. He then drove back to The Bronx where he raped her a second time before letting her go.

Police are still speaking with the man and no charges have been brought against him as of Monday afternoon, an NYPD spokeswoman said, adding the investigation is still ongoing.

The victim, who was taken to North Central Bronx Hospital for treatment, and told investigators that she did not know her attacker, police said.
