MANHATTAN — A 60-year-old man groped a woman in a 6 train, and was caught after the victim flagged down police and identified him on a Midtown street, police said.

Hector Collado, of Corona, felt up a 27-year-old woman on a southbound 6 train shortly before 9 a.m., just before they both left the train, according to authorities.

Police could not say at which station the pair exited.

The victim called 911 on her cell phone and managed to flag down officers in a patrol car on East 28th Street at Madison Avenue, officials said.

After canvassing the area, the woman pointed out Collado one block north on Madison Avenue, police said.

Collado was charged with forcible touching, harassment and sexual abuse, according to court records.

Information for Collado’s lawyer was not immediately available.
