MANHATTAN — Police released footage of a man wearing a bow tie they say groped a 12-year-old girl in Chelsea on Tuesday.
The man was walking east on West 28th Street near 10th Avenue about 4:30 p.m. when he passed a 12-year-old girl walking alone in the opposite direction and groped her, police said.
She screamed and ran home to her mother, who called 911, police said.
The suspect fled and hadn't been arrested as of Thursday morning, police said.
He wore a brown jacket, black scarf and dark green pants, police said. They also said he was wearing a bow tie.
