Governors Ball Headliners Include Kanye West and The Strokes

MANHATTAN — Kanye West is heading this year's Governors Ball Music Festival.

The event, which runs from June 3 to 5 on Randall's Island, will also feature The Strokes, The Killers, Beck, Robyn and Death Cab for Cutie, organizers said Friday.

On social media, this year's list of performers was compared favorably to the 2016 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which will take place in California in April.
