STUYVESANT TOWN — A pair of robbers held up a cellphone store at gunpoint over the weekend, making off with dozens of phones and roughly $1,500 in cash, according to police.

The suspects walked into a T-Mobile store at 322 First Ave. at East 19th Street at roughly 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 13, displayed a gun and forced two workers and a customer into a back room, police said.

The robbers then fled with the cash and 40 Apple and Samsung phones, according to authorities.

The NYPD released surveillance footage of the incident showing two men in gray, hooded sweatshirts entering the store, with one pointing a gun at employees and a customer.

The pair then pushed the victims, one of whom was walking with a cane, into a back room and forced them to crouch on the ground, according to the video.

One suspect continued to point a gun, while a man who appears to be an employee, put the phones into a black bag, opened a safe and gave the thieves a canister from inside, the video shows.

The two men are then seen walking out of the store with the bag.

Police described one suspect as being in his 30s or early 40s, standing roughly 5-foot-11 and weighing about 270 pounds. The second is about 25 years old, stands 5-foot-11 and weighs about 170 pounds, police said.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), or submit tips online at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
