The owners of the Good Fork in Red Hook were tired of driving to Queens to get authentic Korean barbecue, so they built a new restaurant, Insa, in Gowanus. But the bibimbap is just the beginning. Insa also has five karaoke rooms and a cocktail bar inspired by 1970s Asian-themed lounges.

Archway Cafe’s Arthur Hassani is bringing authentic Neapolitan pizza to the Pearl Street Triangle with his newest venture Love and Dough. The kitchen is manned by award-winning celebrity chef Giuseppe Manco, originally from Napoli, who took home the title of best Italian-style pizza at the 2014 International Pizza Challenge in Las Vegas. The thin-crust, brick oven pizza doesn’t get any fresher with dough made daily with imported Caputo flour from Napoli. Homemade pastas, mediterranean salads and sweet Italian desserts round out the menu for a true Neapolitan feast.

Cobble Hill sandwich shop Court Street Grocers opened their first Manhattan location last month, serving breakfast and lunch at an 11-seat counter and a seating area that can see up to 10 people. The menu includes favorites from the Cobble Hill original, as well as some new options, including the “Italian Chef,” described by Grub Street as “a hero in salad form.”

Theo’s seafood-focused contemporary American menu has dishes like crab and ricotta gnocchi, hamachi crudo with coconut vinaigrette, shishito pepper and grapefruit and grilled swordfish. Diners can watch cooking in action at Theo’s open kitchen, where executive chef Ryan Skeen orchestrates his staff. The restaurant is owned by Theo Katsihtis, the son of Peter Katsihtis, who owned Viand on Lexington Avenue.

A new brunch menu that includes pancakes and waffles is ready to eat at the Filipino eatery Lumpia Shack, which has an outpost at the Berg’n in Crown Heights. The beer hall is open every day except Mondays from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. Lumpia Shack’s regular menu includes adobo-flavored chicken wings, pork and mushroom lumpia (a kind of Filipino spring roll) and garlic chips.

From the owners of Harlem Tavern, the Row House is a “seasonal American eatery with a chic subterranean cocktail bar.” Their dinner menu includes braised short ribs ($25), chicken pot pie ($10), and fish tacos ($11). Their brunch features steak and eggs, and lemon ricotta pancakes, which are $15.95 and come with a drink.

Moda Grill, a new American comfort food restaurant in downtown Jamaica, serves mostly old-fashioned eats, like burgers, chicken wings and steaks. Patrons who like to eat light will also find a variety of healthy items on the menu, including salads as well as several vegetarian dishes, like penne pasta in marinara sauce with broccoli, zucchini and carrots. The eatery replaced CityRib, a high-end barbecue restaurant that closed after two years.
