EAST FLATBUSH — Police are looking for a group of teens they believe committed two robberies in two days, stealing sneakers and cellphones from young victims.

The first theft happened on Dec. 3 at roughly 4:50 p.m. near Rutland Road and East 45th Street as a 14-year-old boy was walking home from school. The victim told police two suspects, approximately 16 years old, walked up to him, simulated a gun underneath their clothes and demanded his cellphone and shoes.

The two teenagers made off with the 14-year-old’s Jordan sneakers and iPhone, according to the NYPD.

The next day, at about 4:25 p.m. on Rutland Road near Albany Avenue, another 14-year-old boy told police he was walking home from Wingate High School nearby when three teenagers pushed him into an alley behind 617 Rutland Road.

There, they simulated a gun underneath their clothes and demanded he hand over his Jordans worth $250, wallet, Galaxy S5 phone and Northface backpack. The group then fled on foot.

Neither victim was injured in either robbery, police said. No suspects have been identified in the crimes and no arrests have been made.
