The sad closure of Cobble Hill cafe Ted & Honey has a happy ending.

The team behind critically-acclaimed restaurant La Vara plans to open a new spot in Ted & Honey's soon-to-be former space at 264 Clinton St., according to reports and social media posts.

Tekoa, a "daytime cafe with baked goods, breakfast, and lunch," will open in December, La Vara posted on Facebook this week.

Eater first broke the news of Chef Alex Raij's latest venture on the same block as her one-star Michelin restaurant, which focuses on the Jewish and Moorish traditions of Spanish cuisine.

Ted & Honey announced that its last day would be Nov. 29.

Tekoa already has an Instagram page, where a first look at the restaurant's new name was recently posted, with the tagline "Where You Are, What You Are."

La Vara's owners could not immediately be reached for comment.
