MIDTOWN — The dazzling, over-the-top seasonal shows that wow the Fifth Avenue throngs every holiday season are back.
In the usual display of holiday one-upmanship, many of the street's department stores have unveiled their window displays — even before the nearby Rockefeller Christmas tree has been lit.
The displays include Tiffany and Co. jewelry draped over a glamorous reindeer, a decked out gingerbread house from Lord and Taylor and more extravagant scenes of pomp and promotion.
