A hawk swooped down and sunk its talons into a pigeon on West 10th Street and West Fourth Street about 12:30 p.m. on Friday, a witness told DNAinfo New York.

The witness, who works in the neighborhood, said the kill happened in the shadow of a Citi Bike station.
