UPPER WEST SIDE — Making room in your tiny New York City apartment to whip up a zillion sides and roast a 20-plus pound turkey is a challenge you don’t have to take on, especially in a neighborhood chock full of places willing to do it for you. We’ve found the best local options for sides and birds to take home — or better yet, have delivered — and places to dine out. Why not show the relatives around the city the day after Thanksgiving rather than spend it cleaning up?

TURKEY, SIDES OR DESSERT for PICK-UP, DELIVERY

Fischer Bros. & Leslie, 230 W 72nd St., 212-787-1715

These longtime family butchers cook the whole shebang for you — the turkey, the sides, even the dessert. Or you can buy sides a la carte, like the roasted roots dish for $9.98 a pound, a mix of potatoes, sweet potatoes, beets, carrots, parsnip fresh roasted with salt, pepper and garlic. A turkey dinner for six, with sides, stuffing and dessert is $150 and the store would appreciate orders being placed by Nov. 12. Hot rotisserie turkeys can also be ordered and customers can have their orders delivered Nov. 25 or can pick them up from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

Épicerie Boulud, 1900 Broadway, 212-595-9606

Dinner for six to eight guests is $295; while dinner for 10 to 12 guests is $395 and also includes roasted Brussels sprout fricassee and creamy green bean casserole. The dinner includes a free-range brined and cooked turkey, vegetable sides, pumpkin sourdough bread, chestnut stuffing, soup, gravy, cranberry and gold Yukon potatoes with butter. Or you can order a la carte items like: Swiss chard and Gruyère cheese gratin, roasted comté cheese-stuffed pumpkin truffled mac and cheese.

Their pumpkin, chocolate-pecan and apple crumble pies cost between $32 and $36 and ship nationwide

By The Way Bakery, 2442 Broadway, 212-877-0806

If you have a gluten-free relative (and chances are you do), go ahead and make their day by bringing a gluten-free tart to the family gathering.

By The Way bakery has three options and each are $35: apple crumb, chocolate pecan and ginger pumpkin.

The bakery suggests placing your order as soon as possible, but no later than Nov. 22.

Telepan, 72 West 69th St., 212-580-4300

For $600 you can get a feast that feeds eight to 10 people made by Telepan. The order must be received by Nov. 21 and customers can pick up their feast Nov. 25 or Nov. 26. The meal includes turkey, squash soup, seasonal salad, mushrooms and sausage stuffing, Brussels sprouts, potato purée, cauliflower gratinee, crushed sweet potatoes and carrots, cranberry sauce, gravy, a pumpkin pie and a chocolate pecan tart.

FEAST AT A LOCAL RESTAURANT

Jacob's Pickles, 509 Amsterdam Ave., 212-470-5566

Jacob's feast comes with the more traditional option, a vegetarian main course or a "country smoked ham steak with candied sweet potato, braised pork shoulder collards and red eye gravy." There's also buttermilk biscuits and pickles, roasted butternut squash soup with maple syrup creme fraiche and sweet potato chips and family style mac and cheese that comes with the entree course. And dessert, of course.

The feast is $55 each and there are 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. seatings.

The Leopard at Des Artistes, 1 W 67th St., 212-787-8767

Have an upscale, relaxing Thanksgiving dinner at The Leopard at Des Artistes and then take a post-meal stroll through Central Park, at the restaurant's doorstep. The restaurant serves Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Nov. 26.

Unlike other spots, the menu is a la carte, so you can stuff yourself as much or as little as you like. There are starters like chestnut and farro soup with balsamic vinegar pancetta or Thanksgiving crab and ricotta cake with arrabbiata sauce and wild greens; there's also a fish course and two pasta options. The star of the show is turkey though: a mushroom and homemade salsiccia-stuffed roasted turkey with baked sweet potatoes, celery root purée and cranberry sauce for $36.

TESSA, 349 Amsterdam Ave., 212-390-1974

TESSA's Thanksgiving dinner is perfect for the gourmands in your clan. The menu includes foie gras and beach plum parfaits with cashews, sweet and sour red wine cabbage and a scallop risotto, among other dishes. And if you feel like going in the exact opposite direction of traditional turkey, there's a whole roasted lobster available that comes with lobster butter, Anson Mills grits, mixed mushrooms and fried leeks. Dinner is served from 1 to 9 p.m. and is $65 for adults and $25 for children.

Telepan, 72 West 69th St., 212-580-4300

The three-course meal is served from 1 to 8:30 p.m. and is $110 per person and $55 for children under 12. The menu has an emphasis on vegetables and a focus on seasonality. There's a house smoked brook trout with a celery root blini and green apple sour cream or a squash soup with chestnuts, squash gnocchi and whole wheat croutons to start, among other appetizers. The main courses include organic turkey, but also monkfish, wild sea bass, venison or heritage pork.

Boulud Sud, 20 West 64th St., 212-595-1313

The Thanksgiving dinner you'll have at Boulud Sud is not your average sweet potatoes and marshmallows affair — it has a fall and Thanksgiving feel but with elevated ingredients. There's a fire-roasted wild mushroom salad with a slow-poached hen egg and Parmesan crouton, a seared Mediterranean sea bass and a braised lamb Cleopatra with couscous, turnip and apricot. There's also a traditional turkey with cranberry and gravy. Dinner runs from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and are $85 per person.

Bar Boulud, 1900 Broadway, 212-595-0303

Bar Boulud will offer a three-course Thanksgiving prix-fixe as well, but for $70. The menu is equally diverse, with options like peekytoe crab with avocado, grapefruit and a meyer lemon vinaigrette or a roasted venison loin with sunchoke, Brussels sprouts, sauce poivrade.
