The world-record breaking GingerBread Lane is back in Queens — and the mastermind behind the work is trying to top his own record.

Chef Jon Lovitch is returning to the New York Hall of Science for the the third year in a row, armed with thousands of pounds of gingerbread, icing and candy.

He's broken a Guinness World Record since 2013 for the largest Gingerbread house, and is gunning for the prize again this year.

His updated version will feature more than 1,050 houses, a double-decker carousel and a miniature department store inspired by the Gimbels shops in the early 1900s.

There will also be The Pumpkin Spice Latte Coffee Shoppe and a 10-square-foot candy factory near the stairs to view the 500-square-foot gingerbread work of art.

They join his standbys of Eggnog Bay, Gum Drop Row, Peppermint Central Park, Candy Cane Place and Toffee Boulevard.

GingerBread Lane is conceived and built by Lovitch, and takes more than 1,500 hours of labor. The exhibit runs through January 10.

He gives away every piece of his masterpiece at an auction the day it comes down, but he also ships houses to children unable to visit the exhibit, according to a spokeswoman.
