Halloween is still a few days away, but some animals at the Bronx Zoo have already been celebrating for weeks with the holiday's iconic pumpkins.
The zoo recently gave out some of the treats to its lace monitors, a type of lizard whose diet normally consists of birds, insects and small mammals.

This tortoise seemed much more eager to see what the pumpkin tasted like.

Other animals were more content to just use the gourds as chairs.

And others appeared to be mostly interested in how the pumpkins smelled.

But overall, it looks like the biggest fans of the treats were bears.
