VIDEO: Man Wanted For Groping Woman in Gowanus

GOWANUS — Police are searching for a man who groped a woman in Gowanus last month.

On Monday, police released video of the suspect.

The victim, a 35-year-old woman, was walking near Third and Bond streets when a man approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks roughly 7 p.m. on Sept. 19, police said. 

The man then fled down Third Street on a bicycle and turned onto Bond Street, police said.

Police described the suspect as roughly 27 to 34 years old, standing 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-9 and weighing about 160 to 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and green army fatigue shorts.
