TOTTENVILLE — A man smashed a train window with a scooter after getting into an argument with the conductor, prosecutors said.
David Drago, 25, got into an argument with the conductor of a Staten Island Railway train on Monday at about 8:30 p.m., prosecutors said.
While the train was at the last stop on the line in Tottenville, near Arthur Kill Road and Bentley Street, Drago smashed the window of the car with a folded metal scooter, prosecutors said. The repairs are expected to cost $1,000.
Drago was charged with criminal mischief at his arraignment, according to the Staten Island District Attorney's office.
He was released without bail and is due back in court on Nov. 16, according to online court records.
His lawyer did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
