ELMHURST — Notable neighborhood restaurants made it into a Michelin Guide to cheap eats around the city, adding cuisines from Thai to Korean to Greek.
The annual Bib Gourmand list from Michelin highlights "restaurants where diners can enjoy quality food at attractive prices," according to a press release.
Brooklyn and Queens lead the pack, and the majority of the new restaurants are in these two boroughs.
"This year’s selection put a light on just how exciting and dynamic New York City’s dining scene is today," wrote Michael Ellis, International Director of the Michelin Guide.
Those selected must offer two courses and a glass of wine or dessert for $40 or less.
Three restaurants on Broadway in Elmhurst made the list — Paet Rio, Sweet Yummy House and Uncle Zhou.
Zabb Elee on Roosevelt Avenue, which was honored with a Michelin star last year, was also included in the guide.
Flushing restaurants including Hahm Ji Bach, Hunan House and Hunan Kitchen of Grand Sichuan were included.
Forest Hills' Il Poeta, on Metropolitan Avenue, was also on the list.
