CORONA —Want a say in how to spend $1 million in your neighborhood?

Councilwoman Julissa Ferreras-Copeland is beginning to form "neighborhood assemblies" for the Participatory Budgeting process, which allows constituents to vote on how to spend city funds on projects in their neighborhoods.

Residents on the assemblies will formulate the projects and ideas that locals will be able to vote on next spring as part of the budgeting process.

Last year, more than 1,110 people voted on how to spend just under $1 million on projects that includes smartboards at P.S 307Q, the Pioneer Academy, NYPD cameras, trees and green space at LeFrak City and improved lighting at Junction Playground.

There is now $1 million to spend in the district.

Here are the upcoming dates for participatory budgeting neighborhood assemblies in District 21:

► Sept. 28, Community Board 4, 46-11 104th St., Corona, at 6:30 p.m.

► Sept. 29, St. Paul the Apostle Church, 98-16 35th Ave., Corona, at 7 p.m.

► Oct. 5 at Community Board 3, 82-11 37th Ave., Sixth floor at 7 p.m.
