BROOKLYN — Police released footage of a well-dressed man in a vest and matching slacks they said fatally shot another man in Flatbush over the weekend.
The suspect, who can be seen in surveillance footage running past the produce section outside a market, fatally shot Julio Yasser, 36, in front of 1925 Church Ave., near Ocean Avenue, about 5:41 p.m. Saturday, NYPD officials said.
Yasser, of Canarsie, was hit in the torso and pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital, police said.
The circumstances of the shooting were not immediately clear, authorities said.
There have been arrests, police said.
Yasser was killed amid a 21-hour period of gun violence that left seven dead, including a 76-year-old fiancée, officials said.
