MIDTOWN EAST — A group of people yelled anti-gay slurs and attacked a 27-year-old woman as she was eating dinner with her mother at a Second Avenue restaurant over the weekend, the NYPD said.

Police are investigating it as a possible hate crime.

The victim and her 46-year-old mother were eating at BarKogi, a Korean fusion restaurant at 957 Second Ave., near East 50th Street, when three strangers sitting nearby started shouting obscenities and anti-gay comments at the pair just after 1 a.m. on Sept. 12, police said

The strangers, a man and two women, then threw the victim to the ground and dragged her across the floor by her legs, causing cuts and bruises on her knees, according to authorities.
