The Bahamas are the new Brooklyn ... price wise.
An interactive map by real estate startup NeighborhoodX took the average price per square foot of two bedroom apartments in a selection of NYC neighborhoods and found similar price points in exotic cities around the world.
The map shows that we could be living in paradise for the price of less-than-desirable real estate in New York. You could trade in Bedford-Stuyvesant for the neighborhood of Vieux Nice, France and hang out with Brad Pitt, who supposedly loves it there. Or give up your Elmhurst pad for Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
