You've been to that Brooklyn bar — where caged work lamps dimly illuminate a barely renovated space with lofted ceilings; where bearded bartenders flash ornate tattoos as they pour you trendy cocktails; and where the inventive menu describes ingredients with abstract adjectives and combines them in unusual ways.

Now there's a menu generator for entrepreneurs who want to open their own Brooklyn bar but find themselves "completely bereft of original ideas."

As the widget's anonymous creator puts it, "You can use this handy tool to generate a name and menu for your fine establishment—absolutely no imagination necessary!"

A click on the "generate another menu" button supplies a carte du jour with 12 dishes, along the lines of "sprouted artichoke tacos with sea-salt lime bombs & watermelon" and "distressed eggplant, activated orecchiette pate & monkfish bun."

A click also delivers a pretentious bar name. Choose from likes of "Front & Westbury," "St. Pauls & Pitkin," or "The Westminster."

You'll be ready to open your own Brooklyn bar in no time.
