Where there used to be mad love between Taylor Swift and Ian McKellen, there now seems to be bad blood.
The knighted actor had been living in director Peter Jackson's Tribeca apartment rent-free when Swift bought the sixth-floor penthouse for $20 million last year and ousted him from it, he told Gay Star News in an interview published Saturday.
"I was thrown out before I wanted to leave!" McKellen said. "That hardly puts me in Taylor Swift’s team, does it? "
The British actor had been singing a completely different tune in July, delivering a dramatic reading of the Swift single "Bad Blood" on Yahoo! McKellen's frequent co-star and friend Patrick Stewart then asked the pop singer and New York City ambassador if they could join her "squad" of supermodels, actresses and musicians.
So @IanMcKellen recited Bad Blood and I did Blank Space on @NPRAskMeAnother. May we join the squad, @taylorswift13? https://t.co/liKBfSzIaU

Swift welcomed them with open arms and a collage of photos they took promoting their New York production of "Waiting for Godot."
Thanks for reciting my lyrics, @IanMcKellen and @SirPatStew! You've made my day. You two are ULTIMATE Squad Goals: pic.twitter.com/pJZY6T5Lq8

Now that Taytay has made a really deep cut in her friendship with McKellen and Stewart, will it ever heal?
McKellen said that after she'd kicked him out from her new apartment, she asked him and Stewart to appear at her show in L.A.
"But I had something else to do that night," he said.
