STAPLETON — Lil Wayne dropped in again on a Staten Island skatepark to do some pop shove-its for the camera almost a year after his first video there.

The Grammy-award winning rapper headed to 5050 Skatepark earlier this month after he played the Billboard Hot 100 music festival for a private ride with pro-skater Evan Hernandez, which was caught on film and released Monday on YouTube.

"He’s psyched that a skatepark wants to do an edit with him," said Ed Pollio, owner of the park.

Weezy has visited the Stapleton park several times since he first filmed a segment with MTV several years ago. Pollio said the rapper tries to drop in whenever he's in the city.

The video, filmed by Marc Meeuwissen, shows Lil Wayne pull some ollies, pop shove-its, and 180s around the park while Hernandez does some much harder tricks.

Even though skateboarding is just a hobby for the popular rapper, Pollio said you could see a marked improvement of Lil Wayne's skills since his first video.

"He’s hanging out with pro skateboarders," Pollio said. "That's what's cool, seeing all the kids together when they hang out with older guys they start getting better."
