BROWNSVILLE — Thieves broke into a Brooklyn apartment and bound occupants — including a 13-year-old girl — with duct tape before fleeing with cash and $11,000 worth of jewelry, police said.

Three men pushed through the door of an apartment building on Sutter Avenue and Union Street roughly 8 a.m. on July 23, according to officials.

Armed with a gun, the men duct-taped a 13-year-old girl, a 31-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man. At least two of the victims appeared to be related, an NYPD spokesman said.

During the robbery, the suspects punched, kicked and pistol-whipped the man, police said. He was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

The three fled with about $3,500 in cash, as well as cellphones and $11,000 worth of jewelry, according to officials.

Police released surveillance video of the suspects Wednesday, showing the men wearing hoods and gloves.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
