THE BRONX — A Morrisania man is dead after a Saturday shooting, police said on Monday afternoon.

Almame Drammeh, 23, was found in front of 2836 Valentine Ave. with gunshot wounds to the torso about 6:05 a.m. Saturday, police said. Another victim, 36, also had similar injuries.

Drammeh was transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he died Monday after being admitted in stable condition. The 36-year-old victim is in stable condition at the same hospital, said police.

No arrests have been made yet, and the investigation into the shooting is still ongoing, according to the NYPD.

This incident is just one of a growing number of shootings in the 52nd Precinct. NYPD data shows that crime is on the rise. There have been 19 shootings in that area as of Aug. 16, compared to 13 shootings during the same period last year, a 46.2 percent increase.
