Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke is making his Broadway debut next month.
Yorke's original music for a revival of the Harold Pinter play "Old Times" will premier in previews at the American Airlines Theater in Midtown.
Roundabout Theatre Company announced the news Wednesday that Yorke is lending his talents to a play about love and memory. The nonprofit theater's production stars Clive Owen, Eve Best and Kelly Reilly.
"Thom’s music works backwards and forwards and plays with time and repetition in the same way Pinter does," said Douglas Hodge, who will direct the show, in a statement. "In true Thom Yorke-style, the music is epic, heartbreaking, irresistible and complex. I’m hopeful this collaboration will result in a new kind of theatergoer coming to our show.”
Preview performances begin Sept. 17, and the play's opening date is Oct. 6.
