RED HOOK — Two Brooklyn teens were arrested and charged Wednesday night in a drive-by shooting that injured five people, including a pregnant woman who lost her unborn child, authorities said.

Marquise Frederick and Quamari McAllister, both 19, were charged with attempted murder in the second degree for the Monday night shooting that wounded five people, police said.

The two were also charged with assault with serious injury, criminal facilitation, criminal possession of a weapon and menacing in the second degree, officials said.

Three men suspected in the shooting were in custody as of Wednesday afternoon but only two were charged later in the day.

Frederick and McAllister drove up to 9A Dwight St. in an SUV, and Frederick opened fire on the group, who was standing in front of an apartment building, authorities said. Police had earlier said a third man was in the vehicle.

Police responded to a 911 call at roughly 11:50 p.m. and found three young women and two men injured in the shooting. They were treated at local hospitals.

One of the women was four months pregnant and miscarried as a result of the shooting, police said.

The shooting was believed to be retaliation for a previous shooting that took place late Sunday night near Gowanus Houses, officials said earlier this week.
